Rome’s Iconic Squares & Fountains Tour

Tour Description

A Private Vespa* or E-Buggy Ride Through Rome’s Most Beautiful Squares & Fountains.

Discover the charm of Rome on a fully private tour, exploring its most iconic piazzas and fountains with your dedicated English-speaking guide. No shared groups, no rushing — just you, your Vespa or e-buggy and a tailor-made journey through the Eternal City.

Starting and ending at Borgo Pio, you’ll ride alongside your private guide through the masterpieces that define Rome’s skyline and spirit. From the elegance of Piazza Navona and Bernini’s dramatic Fountain of the Four Rivers, to the lively pulse of Campo de’ Fiori and the refined grace of Piazza Farnese, each stop reveals stories shaped by artists, popes, and everyday Romans.

Before reaching the Pantheon, you’ll make a stop at the charming Fontana delle Tartarughe, a Renaissance gem celebrated for its delicate figures and playful elegance. You’ll then pause by the Pantheon’s fountain, admire the poetic beauty of the Barcaccia in Piazza di Spagna, and feel the magic of the Trevi Fountain, where myths of love and luck still shimmer in the water.

Your private ride continues through Piazza Venezia and the monumental Campidoglio, designed by Michelangelo, before reaching the grand finale in Piazza del Popolo, framed by fountains, legends, and centuries of history.

A journey through water, art, and timeless stories — made unforgettable by the exclusivity of a private tour crafted entirely around you.

*Important for your safety:
  1. Only confident, experienced scooter drivers can take part in this tour. “Experienced” means having ridden a scooter or motorcycle multiple times recently (at least 10 times). E-bikes and kick scooters do not count. Your safety — and your enjoyment — come first.
  2. Children can join the tour, but only if they are able to safely reach the foot pegs while sitting as passengers on the Vespa. As a reference, this typically requires an inside leg measurement of approximately 55 cm. Children who cannot comfortably reach the foot pegs will not be able to participate for safety reasons.

fountain of the four rivers

The Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona is Bernini’s Baroque masterpiece, featuring sculpted river gods symbolizing the Nile, Danube, Ganges, and Rio de la Plata beneath an imposing obelisk at its center.

piazza venezia

Piazza Venezia is famed for the Vittoriano, whose bright white marble and layered terraces earned it the American nickname “wedding cake.” Legend says locals once joked it looked sweeter than any monument ever built in Rome.

piazza del popolo

Piazza del Popolo hides a quirky tale: locals once claimed the perfectly symmetrical twin churches confused travelers so much that they circled the square twice before realizing there were two. A playful Roman trick on the distracted.
