A Private Full-Day Vespa* Escape to Tivoli

Tour Description

Discover Rome’s Countryside on a Full-Day Private Vespa Escape featuring Private Visits to Villa Adriana & Villa d’Este, followed by a Traditional Italian Lunch.

Your private full-day adventure begins at our office in Vicolo d’Orfeo 8, where your dedicated English-speaking guide welcomes you and gives you a short Vespa briefing. This is a fully private experience — no shared groups, just you, your Vespa (125cc or 300cc), and the pleasure of following your guide toward one of the most enchanting areas outside Rome.

Riding through the gentle hills of Lazio, you’ll reach the extraordinary Villa Adriana, Emperor Hadrian’s immense imperial retreat. With its vast pools, colonnades, baths, nymphaea, and ancient gardens, it offers one of the most remarkable archaeological experiences in Italy. Exploring it with your private guide allows you to enjoy the site at your own rhythm while discovering the stories behind its architectural brilliance.

After your morning at Villa Adriana, you’ll sit down for a relaxed lunch at a traditional restaurant, choosing between a plate of typical local pasta or a ham-and-cheese selection, accompanied by water and espresso.

In the afternoon, your journey continues to the magnificent Villa d’Este, where you’ll stroll through its Renaissance terraces and admire some of the world’s most iconic fountains and water features. Your private guide will share the essential stories that make this villa a UNESCO masterpiece.

With two extraordinary sites explored and a full day of culture, landscapes, and riding pleasure behind you, you’ll enjoy a scenic Vespa ride back to Rome, returning to our office in the late afternoon.

This is a private, curated, and unforgettable full-day escape — a perfect blend of history, beauty, and the pure joy of riding your own Vespa.

*Important for your safety:
  1. Only confident, experienced scooter drivers can take part in this tour. “Experienced” means having ridden a scooter or motorcycle multiple times recently (at least 10 times). E-bikes and kick scooters do not count. Your safety — and your enjoyment — come first.
  2. Children can join the tour, but only if they are able to safely reach the foot pegs while sitting as passengers on the Vespa. As a reference, this typically requires an inside leg measurement of approximately 55 cm. Children who cannot comfortably reach the foot pegs will not be able to participate for safety reasons.
