From our first little Buzz cars to a fleet of Vespas and 8 unique guided experiences, we’ve been helping travelers explore the City in a fun, easy and unforgettable way.
Hello, my name is Peter Hall, and I founded Buzz4Tours in 2012.
When I first saw the Buzz Buggy — our compacted e-buggy— I fell in love and decided to build a business around it. The idea was simple:
People who are new in town usually wish to know what to see and how to get there. What if, they could rent a small, easy to park and preferably eco-friendly vehicle, provide a device (iPad would be cool) set up click and go destinations on Waze and discover Rome’s main sights without wasting time or energy… it would be a winner and it is!
At the time, no one else was doing anything like it. It was the first self-drive experience in Rome combining technology, freedom and sightseeing — long before “smart travel” was even a thing.
A few years later, we added Vespa rentals, for those who wanted the classic Italian feeling of riding through the Eternal City on two wheels.
hen came the next step: our private guided tours — eight unique experiences ranging from Rome’s Highlights to full out-of-town adventures in Tivoli and the Castelli Romani — crafted to share our favorite routes, hidden gems, and the kind of places most visitors never get to see.
More than a decade later, Buzz4Tours has become a true family business. After gaining experience in major American companies, my daughter Olivia returned to Rome and
started to work alongside her old man — bringing fresh ideas, new energy and the same passion for this one-of-a-kind project.
Together, we’re proud to keep offering something authentic, personal and truly unforgettable!

By train from Civitavecchia
You may easily catch a train from Civitavecchia’s main railway station (Stazione Centrale) to Roma San Pietro.
The direct train takes around 40 minutes, while other services with additional stops take closer to an hour, so both options are perfectly normal.
Once you arrive, our office is just a 10-minute walk away.
If you’d rather skip the walk and dive straight into your adventure, you can also have your Buzz/Vespa delivered directly to the station for €12.00 — a small extra that often saves precious time and gets you moving instantly.

From Rome's Central Areas (by Metro)
Get off at Ottaviano and take the exit toward Via Ottaviano / Vatican City.
Walk straight along Via Ottaviano until you reach Piazza del Risorgimento.
Cross the square and enter Borgo Sant’Angelo.
Take the fourth street on the right, Via degli Ombrellari, and continue straight to Vicolo d’Orfeo 8.
The walk takes about 7 minutes.
We know it may sound a little tricky but in fact it’s very easy – more of a “pleasant stroll” than a “mission impossible”
From Rome's Central Areas (by taxi)
A taxi ride to us from central areas should not cost more than around €10/12 (it is useful to tell the driver that Vicolo D’Orfeo is near the Vatican and “Borgo Pio”).
Delivery Service
A delivery and Pick-up service is available for central areas only at the extra return cost of €20.00 per Buzz or Vespa or at €25.00 either way.
NB: If you are renting more than one vehicle, it will be cheaper to get a taxi and come to us!
